"The Vaults of Yoh-Vombis" is a short story by the American author, Clark Ashton Smith. In the story, which first appeared in Weird Tales in May 1932, a group of explorers on Mars venture into the subterranean passages of a long-abandoned city ... with unfortunate consequences.
