I had an idea two years ago to walk across the Pyrenees Mountains range from coast to coast. I have lived in France for around three to four years in Ariege, and I see the Pyrenees Mountains almost every day. I heard many stories from friends and family about the famous trails known as the GR 10, HRP and GR 11. I decide to take a very flexible approach by planning my own custom route to walk across the mountains. I walked 900km total and climbed 35,000m in total elevation. The time to walk across the mountains was around 30-40 days but it was over the course of more than one year.
This documentary goes into full detail about what I took with me, how I planned my trip, what's the best time to visit, sharing my honest opinions and many personal stories from the adventure. For further questions, you can leave your thoughts and ideas in the comments section.
