Three IAS aspirants lost their lives on July 27 evening due to flooding in the basement of a building housing Rau's IAS Study Circle coaching institute. The victims, Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni and Navin Dalwin were caught in the deluge after heavy rains inundated the basement of the centre. The incident sparked a massive outrage by fellow students who are demanding strict action against those responsible for the incident. "15 minutes before the incident, we were on the ground floor, when the rain started. We decided to take a break since the weather was nice. But it started raining very heavily so we decided to get back to studying since the library of the coaching institute closes at 7 pm."
