A huge uproar broke out in Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh last Monday. The movement of the Satnami community, which had been protesting in the area for several days, became violent. The protesters set fire to the Collector's office and burnt several vehicles. While stopping the protesters, they also had a heated clash with the police. On May 17, some people broke the Jaitakhambh worshiped by the Satnami community. There was widespread anger among the Satnami community, due to which they started protesting.
छत्तीसगढ़ के बलौदाबाजार में बीते सोमवार को बड़ा बवाल मच गया. कई दिनों से इलाके में प्रदर्शन कर रहे सतनामी समाज का आंदोलन उग्र हुआ. प्रदर्शनकारियों ने कलेक्टर ऑफिस में आगजनी की और कई वाहनों को जलाया. प्रदर्शनकारियों को रोकने के दौरान उनकी पुलिस के साथ भी तीखी झड़प हुई है. 17 मई को सतनामी समुदाय की ओर से पूजित जैतखंभ को कुछ लोगों ने तोड़ा था. सतनामी समुदाय में व्यापक आक्रोश फैल गया, जिसको लेकर वह प्रदर्शन करने लगे
