Farmers are calling for the animal rights group Aussie Farms to be stripped of its charity status and have its Facebook page taken down.
The group launched an online map showing the location and contact details for hundreds of farms across the country, linking them to animal cruelty.
Aussie Farms says the initiative is about increasing transparency but Agriculture Minister David Littleproud is warning the site "could be creating an attack map for activists".
