Although it could be the most famous zoo in NYC, the Central Park Zoo is the smallest zoo in the city geographically. (It covers a mere 6.5 acres.) That said, it’s the most centrally located zoo— hence the name— so it’s worth checking out!
Plus, it may be small, but it’s still fun. There are penguin feedings and sea lion feedings, interesting habitats like the Tropic Zone, and classic zoo animals like the grizzly bear.
