Police authorities in southwest China's Yunnan Province have revealed that more than 8,000 drug traffickers have been arrested, and over 9 tons of illegal drugs have been seized in the first five months of this year. Yunnan, which borders the notorious "Golden Triangle" of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand, is at the forefront of China's anti-drug efforts.
