This 20 x 12 apex garden shed was built in a car park that wasn't flat. The solution was to lay a heavy duty floor frame which was levelled and then put onto legs. All the floor timbers are tanalised (pressure impregnated timber) against rot.
The legs come to the top of the floor frame so that when the 18mm exterior plywood floor boards are put on the load is transferred to under the floor boards.
The shed was built a plank taller than normal to accommodate standard height doors in the eaves side.
Framing is 3 x 2 CLS, C16 dry graded
The cladding and the roof are 12mm finished thickness TGV, Scandinavian redwood pine 5th grade or better
The shed was treated with Barrettines Protect and Nourish treatment
All fixings and fastenings are plated against corrosion
