The SEQ City Deal has announced more than $38.48 million of funding to kickstart priority affordability, tourism and liveability projects across Toowoomba.
As part of the deal, which provides a shared commitment to transform South East Queensland, the Region will also have access to more than $400 million in regional funding pools.
This major investment will help kickstart a number of exciting developments for our Region – generating thousands of local jobs, boosting digital and transport connectivity, enhancing livability and supporting one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.
The SEQ City Deal is a 20-year partnership between the Australian Government, Queensland Government and 11 Councils which make up the Council of Mayors (SEQ).
