In this video, I will show you how to install the Google camera app (GCAM) without wiping data for the Mi A1. This method works for both Android 8.0 & Android 8.1. In this method, we will first root our phone. Then we will install GCAM. Then we will unroot our phone. And finally, we will lock the bootloader so that we continue to get updates.
