The Camino is a pilgrimage with various starting points across Europe to Santiago de Compostela, where St. James’s remains were said to be discovered in the 9th century. We chose to walk the Caminho Português (coastal) with a start in Porto - making our journey 280km. This took us 12 days to complete.

The trip allowed us to immerse ourselves into both Portuguese and Spanish culture whilst facing the known challenges of this long distance walk.
