Get your kids in the Mardi Gras spirit with Parents Magazine by making feathered friends crafts for kids! To start this Mardi Gras kids craft, twist a chenille stem into a pretzel shape to create two finger holes and an antenna. Twist half a chenille stem around the top to create two additional antennas. Glue a small pom-pom on the top of each chenille stem. Glue a large googly eye on two large pom-poms, and then glue them just above the finger holds. Glue feathers to the back of the pom-poms to create birth plumage. Get creative and use this easy craft idea for kids to make your own feathered friends!
