With Paris Olympics scheduled for 2024, Indian weightlifter and Tokyo Olympics Silver medalist Saikhom Mirabai Chanu on March 05 in Kolkata said that she is preparing and training to turn her Tokyo Olympics’ Silver medal into a Gold one.
Chanu also opened up about the upcoming Asian Championship and the Asian Games, and said that she is getting ready for the games and mainly focusing on the Asian Games.
“I am very happy. We wanted this, I cannot do this alone. Preparations are going well for the Asian Championship and Asian Games. My training is going on. Will try my best to turn my Silver medal into Gold in the next Olympics,” the weightlifter said.
