TC-Python is a Python-based API available with Thermo-Calc that allows users to openly couple Thermo-Calc calculations with other software.
TC-Python was developed for users who want to integrate Thermo-Calc calculations into an ICME framework. The program was built in the popular programming language Python because it couples with many other software programs, such as NumPy and SciPy, and it is one of the easier languages to learn, so it can be used even by those who are not comfortable working with APIs.
TC-Python can also be used from Jupyter notebooks or comparable interactive Python-consoles.
