The STEPS Engineers Week campaign to celebrate International Women’s Day is a series of videos introducing four female engineers from a variety of backgrounds.
Mark Langtry, Head of Science and Sport, Explorium introduces each of the speakers and asks our engineers why they chose a career in engineering and to share their message to show Transition Year students why there is a career for them in engineering if they want it.
Speakers include:
• Dr. Sahar Alialy is the MFG Operations Manager at Intel Corporation Ireland.
• Maria Isabel Meza Silva is a Data Analytics Researcher with Irish Manufacturing Research
• Denise Gaule, Mechanical Design Engineer at Malone O'Regan and 2020 All-Ireland camogie champion
• Aoibhín Sheedy Biomedical Engineer, PHD Student and founder of WiSTEM society at National University of Ireland, Galway
