After nearly a six week break from the banks of Rutland Water and a move to boat fishing until Rutland Switched off in July I have been fishing Draycote and Grafham. But even there, the boat fishing was hard.

I did a scout across the weed banks of Rutland Peninsula and decided to venture out fishing again. After a morning session at the end of the peninsula and nothing to show. A little voice said, go try Old Hall. So I did.
