Lee Wulff challenged the popular belief that Atlantic salmon fishing required a big long heavy fly rod. He showed us that a light 6 foot long bamboo fly rod was all that was needed. I decided to make a copy of his fly rod and attempt to catch a salmon with it. I got lucky and accomplished that feat this year.
