On 15 October 1997, the Thrust SuperSonic Car became the first land vehicle to break the sound barrier. The car is now one of the highlights of our collection, located in our Land Speed Gallery alongside Thrust2 and Bloodhound LSR.

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of this landmark event, members of the Thrust SSC team visited Coventry Transport Museum to celebrate together and share their memories.
