In this video I show a better quality repair than the OEM latch for the 2012-2018 Yamaha Broken FX Rear Hatch Latch Problem. Below are the links to where you can buy the upgraded metal style latch repair kits. Take note that there are multiple colors to match different color skis so take the time to find the color that best matches the color scheme on your ski. The most common size allen socket is 2.5mm for the bolt going through the latch, they may not all be the same though, so have a couple on hand if the kit does not come with the wrench.
