We always enjoy this walk from Higher Ferry to Lower Ferry; the path sandwiched between the steam train railway track and the beautiful river Dart, with its view across to Dartmouth, Devon. Then, passing through Darthaven Marina, the path goes up the steps to the bridge over the railway, and down into Kingswear, with its pretty coloured houses.
We did this walk in early February 2022, when the Higher Ferry was closed for maintenance, so both trips across the Dart were via Lower Ferry.
