Sunset time in Mrauk U, Myanmar.
I took my rented bicycle around Mrauk U town center at sunset one of the days.
Life carries on around the Pagodas and temples as normal, people wash and fill up on drinking water from the well, children play and goats are everywhere.
The big bunker-style pagoda is known as Htukkanthein and is one of the biggest most famous in the area. It is quite central in the village, with weeds growing around it and for anyone to wonder into. Inside was an amazing maze of bhuddah statues in alcoves in the wall, that led to a shrine in what felt like a basement.
The man at the end was fascinated with my phone and re-watched the video about 10 times!
Mrauk U is a very small town in the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
