Our goal is to spend the next five years exploring the English and Welsh canal systems.
In Episode 25, we moor up on the Rufford Branch of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Chapel Bridge and spend a few days exploring Rufford.
We visit Rufford Old Hall, a National Trust property and take Tilly on a walk in the Hall's wooded areas.
A trip to St. Mary's the Virgin Church reveals some of its rich history, inside and out.
Rob celebrates his 101st birthday, so I take him to pick out his present.
We follow up on recommendations to eat at The Hesketh Arms and The Boathouse. (Both places were excellent)!
