Speaker: Mark Coeckelbergh, PhD | Professor of Philosophy of Media and Technology at the Department of Philosophy, University of Vienna
About AI and the Humanities Lecture Series:
This lecture series is part of the Humanities Center's multidisciplinary programming around artificial intelligence and the intellectual and moral challenges it poses. International scholars from across disciplines join us to explore vital questions such as theological and ethical questions raised by AI, impacts of AI on social life, the nature of the mind and of thought itself. These questions are important for scientists, social scientists, artists and humanists alike. Coordinated by Hannah Holtzman, PhD, Keck postdoctoral fellow in critical technology, USD Humanities Center.
