The maintenance works which caused a planned shutdown of the Caroni Water Treatment Plant have been completed. These works comprised 23 projects.

The operations are being hailed a success by the Minister of Public Utilities.

While water has returned to some consumers, others will have to wait a while longer to get a pipe-borne supply. Alicia Boucher has more in this report.
