We went to Varadero Cuba in late May of 2022. This is about half of the beach walk I did. The beach itself is 21 km long so this is only the west most portion of the beach. I walked for about 3 to 3.5 km. White powdery sand with stunning blue water. Lots of public access points unlike other destinations like Cancun for example. This video is for anyone that can't travel to Cuba or is not able to walk a beach that far for health reasons or just simply wants to see what it may be like. May is the beginning of the low season in Varadero so you will see a lot of locals on the beach in comparison to what you would see in high season.
This is on out Top 5 beaches we have ever been on. You never get tired of looking out at the water and the sand is powdery and doesn't seem to get too hot in the sun.
