ABOUT THE VIDEO:
In February 2020, I went into the studio with producer Isaac Wardell (Sandra McCracken, Josh Garrels, Porter’s Gate) to record not one, but two new albums from scripture - the first focusing on the longing of Advent and the joy of Christmas, and the second on the compassionate life of Jesus (2021). For the most part, we recorded everything live, with all of us in one room together. Sixteen songs for two full-length albums in just four days. This video is a small window into those 4 days in East Nashville, and the intimacy of the recording process.
