The cemetery in Gdańsk Zaspa holds the final remains of many of the first victims of WW2 and Nazi brutality in and around the city. Burials include the very first people to be killed in WW2 from Simonsdorf as well as the defenders of the Polish Post Office in Danzig and military casualties from fighting in the area. Furthermore victims of the Stutthof concentration camp were buried here until 1942.
