Pilates Reformer 60 Minute Workout and Stretch Level 3 - Full Body Box Challenge
Duration: 60 Minutes + Set-up/Stretch
Props: Reformer Box, Pilates Ball and Dumbbells
Focus: Full Body workout battling endurance based strength (lots of layers)!!
Difficulty Rating: 3 (intermediate)
Set-Up at the START of class:
- 1B + 1R Spring (light/medium spring + heavy spring)
- Headrest DOWN
- Footbar DOWN
- Pair of Light Dumbbells on floor (1-3 lbs each)
- Reformer Box Short Box over Platform & Footbar (see set-up at the start of video)
- Pilates Ball on Headrest (slightly deflated)
Grab your box…it’s time for a box challenge! This entire flow will revolve around the Reformer Box positioned at the front of your carriage. At times the slight elevation the box creates will feel pretty good, but most of the time it will provide quite the challenge. This full body workout will have you trembling and sweating as we tackle endurance strength and muscle stamina working through lots of layers and compound movement sequences. You will need a slightly squishy standard 8-10” Pilates Ball and a pair of light dumbbells for this journey! Let’s do it!!
