Used the Eastbound Motowinch to lift up my new 2021 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S after a lie down in mud.
When I came across some wet red clay on a down hill, I thought if it was wet here there will be another 20km on dirt to go.
But after turning around to get out I had to go through the slippery area again and I dropped the bike.

Last year I had a back injury and operation and planned I would buy one of these Motowinch’s. I’m glad i did. I only tested it once last year in the back yard.
All good.

A good tip in the instructions is to Velcro the front brake closed so when the bike is coming up it doesn’t start rolling away from you. This is important even if the ground is flat (as i found out in my back yard ).

So thankfully when I did get the bike up I didn’t drop it again on the way out !
