Testing my intuition for vertical volumes in 2 point perspective while working to improve the connection between my brain and my hands through meditation and continuing to playfully learn how to draw with both hands. I’m passionate about drawing although it’s not without frustration. Here I’m working on vertical perspectives such as squares or floating box’s. It’s challenging to maintain mental and physical balance through the sketch, which can yield fun perspective by accident so it’s important to concentrate and be rigorous about executing the original thought impulse. It’s SO incredibly easy to abandon the initial idea and follow a wonky doodle at the first twitch of line work that doesn’t resemble the vision. In the next video I draw loose guidelines to see how far off these intuitive scratches are from the vanishing points, and best of all it’s a fun warm up exercise for connecting the mind and body. Keep working, AMA. Eventually we gain the skill to draw out our visions on to a surface and into realistic spaces we can all experience. Keep Going
:D
