Sperm Whales - Azores - São Miguel
Sperm whales can be seen year round in the Azores, and have become the iconic species in this area.
Facts: The sperm whale has a very unique body as you can see and is unlikely to be confused with any other species of whale. It has a block shaped head that can measure up to 1/3 of the overall size and length!
