Eric is skeptical that they will be able to keep the truth from Brooke but Stephanie is confident that Massimo’s plan will succeed. Stephanie’s gratitude toward Massimo turns into a kiss which Eric witnesses. Disgusted by Brooke’s behavior and unyielding pursuit of Ridge, Taylor emphatically urges Brooke to leave Los Angeles so she can take care of her ailing father. Ridge also believes Brooke should go and the Forresters bid Brooke farewell as she leaves for Paris. Ridge discovers the business card Massimo gave to Stephen in Brooke’s office.
