Heavy rains in the Amazon rain forest have caused rivers to rise to near record levels. Violent storm has caused significant damage to houses in the town of Manaus, Brazil.
The strong winds caused the destruction of the roofs and the sinking of some ships.A warning was issued not to be exposed to the wind, and there were no injuries.
