The G-wagon has been an icon from Mercedes-Benz and like all automotive icons in the post-Covid world, the G-Wagon also receives the electrified treatment. Presenting the Mercedes Benz EQG Concept - a near production-ready concept that previews the future of the G-Wagon. Showcased first at the 2021 German auto show, the EQG Concept builds on the existing boxy design with a dual-tone paint finish that helps distinguish the EV. A Unique LED Black Panel grille, updated front, and rear fascias, new 22-inch wheels, and a special roof rack are further design elements unique to the EQG Concept. Little has been told about the powertrain specifications but the layout is confirmed to be a four-motor setup, one for each wheel, a first in Mercedes’ stable. Intrigued to find out more?
