Yes. THE SONY 24-70mm F2.8 GM II is almost perfect, besides one thing... The newest lens is better than the first version in almost every single way. It is smaller, lighter, fast auto focus in photo and video, more custom buttons and features, less chromatic aberration, great control of ghosting and optically sound for a zoom lens.
It was interesting sony have opted for no OSS again and left the stability up to the camera bodies.
The biggest thing I found with the Sony 24-70mm lens was the edge sharpness. It was a little soft on the edges but absolutely tac sharp in the centre at all focal lengths.
Overall this lens is for people who are looking to take their photography or videography to the next level with a super light and versatile lens.
