SpaceX performed a test firing of its Falcon 9 rocket at launch pad 39A ahead of its planned launch with Dragon Freedom carrying the Axiom 3 crew to the International Space Station. Ignition of the nine Merlin first stage engines occurred at 7:11 p.m. EST (0011 UTC) on Tuesday Jan. 16.
