Kevin Breel is a 22 year old writer, comedian and an activist for mental health. His TED talk, entitled “Confessions of a Depressed Comic” became one of the most viral videos of all time with more than a million views in a matter of weeks. Now, with over 4 million views, it stands as one of the most watched TED talks ever; alongside the likes of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Sir Ken Robinson. This past fall he followed up with a book Boy Meets Depression in mental health - published by Random House, which has been met with rave reviews from NPR and Forbes. He speaks openly and honestly about suffering from depression; giving a real face to the suffering of mental health.
