The constellation Crater, the cup, is visible this month in the southeastern evening sky. Its stars are faint so you need dark skies to find it. To ancient European cultures, Crater represented the birthplace of storms.

Canis Major, the big dog, is in the south-southwest in early evening. It features the night's brightest star, Sirius. The lesser dog is above it, featuring the eighth-brightest star, Procyon.

Seven objects reported inside ten LD
There are seven objects reported to be within ten lunar distances (LD) of our planet today. Within Earth's Hill sphere, intruder 2012 FS35 is moving away from 1.88 to 2.65 LD. Further out, intruder 2012 EG5 (risk-listed radar target) is inbound from 6.43 to 4.56 LD and 2012 FV23 from 6.84 to 6.62 LD, while 2012 FT35 is outbound from 4.55 to 5.47 LD, 2012 FX35 from 7.47 to 8.62 LD, and 2012 FM35 from 7.47 to 8.12 LD, and intruder 2012 FP35 departs from inside ten LD, passing from 8.71 to 11.86 LD.
On approach, 2012 FW35 and risk-listed 2012 FA57 arrive inside ten LD tomorrow, 2012 FS52 on April 1st, and 2007 HV4 on April 14th.
