Welcome to the first episode of this new journey!
*We bought this car in June of 2014, and the plan was to get it back on the roads again. As time has gone by though, we've decided to RestoMod it and transform the little car into something incredibly unique. It's a long term project, so subscribe to follow along!*
This is our 1971 Triumph GT6 Mk3. Only 13,042 Mark 3's were ever produced, and this '71 model is claimed to be the best of the last years of the GT6. In '72 and '73 more emissions regulations led to decreased performance and ultimately the demise of the car.
Only half of the 13,042 Mk3's produced were imported to North America, with an even smaller percentage making their way up to Canada, were we live. This was the only GT6 available within a 600km radius, so although it's in rough shape, it's what we had available.
The previous owner was hoping to put the car back onto the road, and so were we. However, after starting to take it apart it was obvious it needed a bit more effort!
Thanks for watching!

We’re just a couple of guys (not trained mechanics) who enjoy problem solving, creating new things, and showing you how we did it. We can’t promise that anything we do will work for your project, or that you, someone else, or your warranty will not be harmed or affected by doing it too. Please work responsibly and do not mess around with machinery that you are not comfortable with, even if we made it look easy!
