I'm heading toward the Sea of Japan side of the Tohoku region before the snow starts falling, traveling north little by little while working along the way. After making it to Yurihonjo City in Akita Prefecture, I had to abandon my plans to take photos due to heavy rain and returned to Miyagi Prefecture. From there, I made my way to Iwaki City in Fukushima Prefecture. Iwaki is known for its mild climate and hardly any snowfall compared to other parts of Tohoku, which is quite nice.
Near Iwaki Station, there's a charming alley lined with bars. In that alley, I noticed women standing or walking around. I didn’t ask about the establishments, but I imagine they might be girl’s bars or snack bars.
