A major rescue is under way after a boat carrying dozens of migrants capsized in the English Channel, according to French media.
The French coastguard said more than 50 people were being rescued and were in need of medical treatment, according to the Reuters new agency.
Officials have also said a further 10 people were in critical condition after the vessel got into difficulty off the coast of Le Portel, around 28 miles (45km) southwest of Calais.
