Assam: KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang Hands Over Land Pattas to Indigenous Tribals of Karbi Anglong
In a historic step towards protecting and preserving the land rights of indigenous people, the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council under the slogan 'Land is our rights' issued land pattas to the indigenous people.
Under the leadership of Chief Executive Member of KAAC, Dr Tuliram Ronghang, Land pattas were distributed to the indigenous people from Karbi Anglong at Denkimo Apam near Centre Market in Phuloni.
Land Pattas were also distributed to the tribals under Langhin, Mahamaya, Karkanthi, Howraghat, Soscheng Dhenta, and Nomati.
