When making the LEGO Maze, HEXBUGS like a 3 stud gap to travel in and use two bricks high, to keep them from climbing the walls. Then make it as big as you like.
Pro Tip: They also don't like dead ends so keep the maze flowing.

HEXBUGS are cheap and playing with them in a LEGO Maze is a great school holiday idea.
