A Terrier-Improved Orion sounding rocket launched experiments built by students through the RockOn! and RockSat-C programs, on 22 June 2017, from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.
The Terrier-Improved Orion sounding rocket flew to an altitude of 115 km (72 miles). The payload landed, via parachute, in the Atlantic Ocean and has been recovered.
