One of the great things about doubles is that because they're a rigid prop, you don't have to worry as much about gravity and thus 3D spinning is a fairly simple undertaking. Here, I describe the basics of working inside of a diamond and by extension a octahedron with the intention of creating points toward and away from the audience to pass through as well as several exercises to begin to get used to spinning your staves in a 3D environment such as this.
