The Uttar Pradesh Police have released photographs of 40 suspects in the Kanpur violence. The images were obtained by the police after scanning CCTV footage of several cameras along the Nai Sadak area of Kanpur where massive violence broke out on Friday over the allegedly insulting remarks by now-expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Nupur Sharma against Prophet Mohammed.
