This video is test footage for a one Year 4K Time-Lapse of the Equinox and Solstice out my front window.
The video is split into quadrants for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, equinox and solstice dates.
Each quadrant clip is taken from 12 Midnight to 12 Midnight on the equinox or solstice.
The camera was set up with a higher exposure so that the night-time lights would show, and a guess as to the brightness of the next mid day was taken.
This has resulted in over-exposure on most of the clips. An auto-exposure would have been best but my camera does not support that.
I may try under-exposing and using a gamma curve over time in Premiere to make the night time brighter.
The subject matter out my front window is rather plain, I may attempt this again at a better visual location, but I will have to get a good battery pack system for my camera since it requires a full twelve hours of electricity to shoot each time-lapse day.
