Washington, D.C.'s Adas Israel Synagogue, the first and the oldest synagogue in the U.S. capital, was moved to its new home on Wednesday.
The 143-year-old synagogue will be housed at the Capital Jewish Museum, which is set to open its doors in two years.
The move was expected to take up to six hours to complete.
