The European Court of Human Rights has emphasized in its jurisprudence that "given the significant role of the Internet in expanding public access to news and facilitating information sharing, the function of bloggers and influential social media users can be likened to that of 'public watchdogs'" (ECHR, CASE OF MAGYAR HELSINKI BIZOTTSÁG v. HUNGARY, 8th of November 2016, par. 168). In light of this, my online activity, including the content that I produce and share on this YouTube channel, can reasonably be considered journalistic in nature. My work serves a similar purpose to traditional journalism in informing the public and holding public figures accountable.
