The International Society of Engineering Pedagogy is the only international society for engineering pedagogy. IGIP has almost 50 years tradition of contributing to Engineering Education and Pedagogy. IGIP provides certification for engineering educators called Ing.Paed.IGIP, but also approves accreditation for institutions that deliver courses that conform with the IGIP Prototype Curriculum of 2018. The accredited Training Centers for Engineering Pedagogy are distributed worldwide.

Eleonore Lickl is a current member of IGIP’s and IFEES´s Executive Committees and former Secretary General of IGIP. Her interests are in all areas of engineering education, especially in the professionalization of engineering faculty. For the past 14 years, she has worked in Vocational Teacher Education.
